Kartik Rajagopalan

Kartik received his MD and PhD from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. During his PhD, he studied metabolic fluxes that are required for cell growth. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in pulmonary/critical-care at Columbia University Medical Center. He is currently a post-doctoral fellow at Rockefeller University studying metabolic fluxes that occur in respiratory viral infection. He also cares for patients and is an attending in the ICU on faculty at Weill Cornell and at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Krishnan Rajagopalan

Krishnan is a graduate of the US Naval Academy and received a Master’s in Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. While at MIT, Krishnan was a fellow at MIT Lincoln Laboratory where his work focused on building machine learning models to implement within integer optimization algorithms. Krishnan is a qualified Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Diving Officer and has led small teams within the Navy Special Operations community.

Andrew Vanden Berg

Andrew is a Captain in the US Air Force, and he currently serves as a machine learning engineer at the 15th Space Surveillance Squadron in Maui, Hawaii. His work focuses on developing and implementing computer vision models for telescope imagery. Prior to this assignment, Andrew served as an operations research analyst at the Defense Logistics Agency and worked as a data engineer at DataPrime. He has also conducted research to reduce patient wait times at the Massachusetts General Hospital and built data pipelines and maintenance scheduling algorithms at the Air Force’s Kessel Run unit. Andrew received his BS in Applied Mathematics from the US Air Force Academy in 2016 and his SM in Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2018.
